About
Little Forest House (森林小屋) is a Waldorf learning community in Taman Mastiara, Batu 5, Jalan Ipoh, Kuala Lumpur, and is one of the initiatives connected with Steiner Education Malaysia. Its premises include a teaching floor for its middle-grade classes, and teaching is mainly in Chinese. Alongside its classes, it runs Saturday enrichment programmes (滋养班). The early-years class for ages four to six meets on Saturday mornings from 9am to 12pm, and a primary enrichment class offers Waldorf rhythmic movement games, storytelling, handwork and wet-on-wet watercolour painting. Organic snacks are provided. The centre also hosts talks for parents with visiting Waldorf teachers, including a drama teacher from Leichuan Waldorf School in Taiwan who advised its senior enrichment class's 2023 production of the Butterfly Lovers.
