About
Sunland Waldorf Melaka (晨林华德福乐园) describes itself as the first kindergarten in Melaka to follow the Waldorf education system. Founded in 2020, it runs a daily mixed-age kindergarten for children aged three to six in a house and garden in Bukit Baru, and opened a Waldorf primary school in 2022. Days follow a steady rhythm with natural materials, plenty of outdoor play, storytelling, art, baking and singing. In line with Waldorf early childhood practice, formal reading and writing are not introduced before age seven. The centre also runs a Sunday playgroup for ages four to six and welcomes families for school visits. Enquire by WhatsApp or email.
